Olay Complete Care Touch of Foundation

Am sitting in my study taking in the sunshine and dreaming about my up and coming holiday in Malaysia, hasn’t the weather been lovely?!

As the weather gets warmer and more humid or if you are about to travel as I am you will inevitability need to rethink your make up routine. Who wants to cake up their face if there are other choices?

I am attending a wedding in Malaysia and wish to at least seem to have a more flawless complexion but as we are talking about wondering in a country of average temperatures of 30-32 degrees I have decided not to go with foundation. As my sister always tells me if you don’t have such problem skin, there is no need for such heavy coverage. Concealer on problem areas should be sufficient. Not that convinced as I do not possess her great skin I set out to find a middle ground, which I think I might have.

My normal Tub of Olay Complete Care

If you talk to any of my friend they will know I have used the same moisturiser for the past 10 years. I swear by Olay, its and oldie but a goodie! Its feels thick enough to feel moisturising and thin enough to not break me out by being too rich. I am currently using the complete care range which also has SPF. Cant get better right….. well they just have….

When restocking my normal tub of cream I found this…..

Olay Complete Care Touch of foundation

Yes ladies it’s the Complete Care with a Touch of Foundation. It claims to be the ‘daily moisturiser with a touch of Max Factor Foundation’. It had SPF 15 and moisturises up to 24 hours. It is supposed to enhance skin tone and even out complexion.

It comes in 3 different shades, fair, medium and dark, very idiot proof I think. But as it’s a tinted moisturiser, the shades are much more forgiving than foundation.

Its texture is very similar to the complete care moisturiser. On the face it feels just like the moisturiser, not heavy at all.

The coverage is light, but it did even out my skin tone. I had to use concealer for the shadows under my eyes but that was expected.

I have used it on and off for the past month and am quite pleased and relieved its not broken me out.

It comes in a 50ml pump and costs just over £10 from Boot. Boots has lots of 3 for 2 deals so you could get it for cheaper.

The bottle is plastic so very travel proof, another plus.

So this is one more thing to pack with me on my holiday. Smiles all round. 
