Egyptian Magic has been receiving quite a few rave reviews on You Tube for a while now and Madonna and Kate Hudson are among its celebrity fans. It’s quoted as ‘The Ancient Kamitians’ Secret, Magical Cream’ making it a 2500 year old beauty/ skin fix.
Its claims to be able to deal with various skin problems, dryness, eczema, stretch marks, wrinkles, reduce the appearance of scars, just to name a few.
So what is it?
At first glance it’s not all that impressive, no fancy packaging, no impressive glass bottle. I presume it does not need these fancy embellishments as it’s the real deal?
The balm is made from all natural products, Olive Oil, Beeswax, Honey, Pollen, Royal Jelly and Propolis Extract.
It looks very much like a harder form of petroleum jelly. You take as much as you need from the tub, rub between your fingers until it takes the form of an oil and smoother over the necessary area.
It doesn’t leave an oily residue which was a surprise, it absorbs into your skin very easily.
When I first brought it I did try this on my face but started to have Milia (tiny white spots) on my face. I have read some other people have has similar problems while others have said it has done wonders to their skin. I assumed it was too rich for my face and stopped using it that way.
I use this mainly for my hands and dry spots on my leg, which has worked really well. I have found that I have been reaching for it more now that the cold weather has settled in. Egyptian Magic is also very good for chapped lips, as a bonus it also gives them a nice shine.
I have enjoyed using this balm, its multi-purpose, non greasy and reasonably price for the amount you get. All said I wouldn’t go as far as to say its ‘magic’!
